We are a society working alongside Anthony Nolan, an international charity that facilitates bone marrow transplants for people with blood cancers like Leukaemia. We fundraise and hold donor recruitment events to sign people up to the donor register.

About us

Marrow is the student branch of Anthony Nolan; a charity that works to match people with blood cancers to bone marrow donors. Not only does joining Marrow promote a fantastic cause, it is a great way to meet people and get stuck into university life. We have both a Hull and York Marrow group that hold regular recruitment events at the university and local area to sign up donors and raise money for Anthony Nolan.
We have many diverse fundraising events – such as pub quizzes, bar crawls, the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and an annual skydive!
Our biggest acheivement last year was that a HYMS student that we signed up donated and saved a life!
